Biography

Fr. Seraphim El Baramosy

Rev. Fr. Seraphim is a monk-priest at St. Mary Coptic Orthodox Monastery El Baramos at the Egyptian Scetis. He is the co-founder and Executive Director of the Alexandria School Foundation for Christian Studies (ASFCS) in Cairo, Egypt. He holds a Master of Letters degree from St. Mary’s University, University of St. Andrews, Scotland. He is the director of the Alexandria School Journal, an Orthodox Christian academic periodical published in English by AU Press and in Arabic by ASFCS. Fr. Seraphim is an author of more than 25 books and lecturer on various topics including the New Testament, Early Christianity, Orthodox theology, Youth development, Church History, Orthodox Mysticism, and Christian Philosophy.
