Fr. Michael is a parish priest at St. Ananius Coptic Orthodox Church in Monroe Township, New Jersey. He is president and co-founder of Agora University. He holds a Master of Letters degree in Divinity from St. Mary’s College, University of St. Andrews, Scotland. Fr. Michael’s thesis focused on the Ecclesiology of the Indigenous Orthodox Churches in North America. He is currently working on his Doctorate of Ministry at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary in Pennsylvania, USA. Fr. Michael is a husband and father of three, as well as a missionary, author and lecturer on various topics including Orthodox mission, youth development, Catechism, Church History, Contemporary Orthodox living, and Ecclesiology.
